Mr. Simba is the Senior Partner in the Law Firm. He was admitted to the Bar in June 1972. He joined the Firm on a full time basis in January 1999. He has wide experience in Corporate Law, Banking Laws, Bank Securities and applicable Law, Capital Markets, Debt Collection, Restructuring of Companies, Privatization and Conveyancing, Retirement Benefits Law and Regulations. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Dar-es-Salaam and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. In addition he has undertaken specialized courses in law and finance from the Georgetown University, Washington DC and University of Sussex UK respectively. He has hands-on experience in the management of financial institutions in Kenya. Mrs. Simba started the Firm eighteen years ago as a sole proprietor and has seen it expand to the current levels of twelve Advocates. She is also the Head of the Conveyancing and Property Transaction Department at the Firm. She was admitted to the Bar in September 1977. Mrs. Simba has wide experience in Conveyancing and Property Transactions. She is also adept at Commercial Law, Civil Litigation. She is also a Certified Public Secretary. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. In addition she holds a Masters’ Degree from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. She has also undertaken a specialized course in law from Georgetown University Washington, DC. He was admitted to the Bar in May 2000 and before then he had been a Bar Candidate at the Firm from September 1998. He is also a Certified Public Secretary. He has specialized in the following areas of practice: Commercial Law and Practice, Intellectual Property Law, Retirement Benefits Law and Regulations, Employment Law, Civil Litigation and related legal work.
